1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using EduSpark, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including students, teachers, and administrators.

2. Use of the Platform

EduSpark is an online exam preparation platform for Sri Lankan A/L and O/L students and teachers. The platform is provided for educational purposes only. You agree to use EduSpark only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.
You must not use automated tools to scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content.
You must not interfere with the normal operation of the platform.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. EduSpark will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect a security breach at the contact details provided below.

4. Student Accounts

Students may access practice papers, attempt practice exams, and track their progress on EduSpark. Free accounts are subject to usage limits. Premium features require a subscription. Student exam results and progress data are stored securely and are accessible only to the student and, where applicable, their teacher.

5. Teacher Accounts

Teachers may create mock papers, manage classrooms, and view student results. Teachers are solely responsible for the accuracy and originality of all content they publish. By publishing content, you confirm that you hold the rights to that content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

All content on EduSpark — including questions, explanations, and design — is the property of EduSpark or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from platform content without prior written permission.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

EduSpark collects personal data (name, email, academic profile) to provide its services. We do not sell your data to third parties. Data is stored securely and processed in accordance with applicable Sri Lankan data protection laws. By using EduSpark you consent to this data collection. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

8. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on EduSpark:

Sharing your account credentials with other users.
Uploading false, misleading, or plagiarised educational content.
Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users.
Attempting to bypass subscription restrictions or payment requirements.
Using the platform for any commercial purpose not authorised by EduSpark.

9. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions grant access to premium features for the duration of the billing period. All fees are stated in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. EduSpark reserves the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Your continued use of the platform after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

10. Termination

EduSpark reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms at any time, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, your access to platform content will cease and your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

EduSpark is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that content is free from errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduSpark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

EduSpark may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, you will be prompted to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the platform. Your continued use after accepting constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.
